Welcome to Mosey, a children’s lifestyle brand built on the belief that kids’ clothes should stay in play longer.
Who We Are

Mosey is female-founded by two moms, Leslie and Lou Lou, with one shared problem:
How do we make keeping up with growing kids easier, more affordable, and better for the planet?
We built the answer.
Our Origin Story
A mutual friend introduced us in December 2023. It was supposed to be one call about Lou Lou's next career move. What we found was a friendship, and a much bigger idea. We spent the whole time talking about the outdoors, our kids, and how hard it is to find clothes for them worth keeping.
Leslie:
I've spent fourteen years in resale. I got my start on the marketplace side, and the idea that became Mosey really took shape while helping apparel brands launch their own resale marketplaces. This is where I saw how much value a single garment still has after its first owner is done with it. From there I went to URBN and worked on Reclectic, their vintage and resale concept, alongside Anthropologie, Free People, Urban Outfitters, and Nuuly. Now I lead category management for US Toys at eBay, which keeps me close to where secondhand is heading next.
The question that kept pulling at me the whole way through: why does something this good only get sold once?
But it didn't become personal until my son Sawyer was born and I found myself sizing him up every three months. Same routine every time: sort what's outgrown, guess what's still good, stack the rest in a bin in the basement. Then Lewis came along and I did it all over again. The clothes were fine. The system around them was the problem.
I'd wanted to build something of my own for a long time. It took having kids to see exactly what.
At Mosey I run Shopify, ecommerce, content, and community, and my day job leading category management for US Toys at eBay keeps me close to where secondhand is heading next, including live commerce as a way to reach more people and keep more clothes in play.
Lou Lou:
I went into that first conversation looking for a job. I came out with the most inspiring friend and a pipe dream.
I spent nearly ten years at Stio, an outdoor apparel company based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, working across customer experience, systems, integrations, logistics, production, and supply chain. It gave me a front-row seat to every stage of the process, from what customers experience after they click "buy" to how products are designed, manufactured, and delivered.
That experience shaped how I think about clothing, especially children's clothing. I saw firsthand the quality, materials, and craftsmanship that go into making a kid's garment. The same care that goes into an adult jacket or sweater goes into a tiny pair of overalls or a dress they'll wear for a single season.
The question that kept nagging at me: if these clothes are made to last, why aren't they living longer lives?
Then I had Cece, and a few years later, Harvey. Suddenly trying to keep up with the constant closet rotation of kids' clothes felt like a burden, a chore at the bottom of the list. Clothes that had life just sat in a bin under the bed, waiting for someone to have the time to do something with them.
This is what made creating Mosey feel so compelling and more of a necessity than a desire. Leslie had spent years building the future of resale. I had spent years understanding how products get made. Together, it felt like we had a chance to build the solution we both wished existed.
In early 2026, I made a major career shift and became a Relationship Manager at the Willow Street Group, a trust company in Jackson. While my day job is very different from Mosey, it’s given me the opportunity to make Mosey my creative outlet, a place where I can build, create and tackle a problem I care deeply about.
At Mosey, I lead production, product line management, vendor relations, design, inventory, and timeline management.
Nearly three years after that first call, here we are: Leslie outside Philadelphia, Lou Lou in Jackson, Wyoming, building this in the margins of two full lives.
What We Do
Mosey is an ecosystem for fun, timeless children's clothing, where you can buy new and pre-loved styles, send back what no longer fits, and feel good every step of the way. We're putting our two-plus decades in resale and retail to work, creating a simpler, more seamless way to keep kids' clothes in play.
Kids grow fast. One week something fits, the next week it doesn't, and it ends up folded on a chair or in a bin in the basement with all the rest.
Mosey on Back™ is our take-back program that keeps kids' clothes in play longer. Send us your outgrown pieces, any brand, any condition, and earn $30+ in site credit. We sort, list, and resell everything on your behalf, so good clothes find a new home instead of a landfill.
How it works
-
Fill the bag. Outgrown, worn in, loved hard. All of it welcome.
-
Send it. Stick on the prepaid label and drop it off. Shipping's on us.
-
Earn and shop. We'll email your Mosey Credit once your bag lands with us.
That's it. No sorting into keep and donate piles, no guessing what's still good, no wondering where it ends up. Good clothes keep moving, you get something back for the closet you just cleared, and the whole thing takes one pick-up or drop-off.
Why We Do It

Closets are lighter.
on the planet and on caregivers.
Clothes go the distance.
passed from siblings to friends to Mosey pals.
Caregivers feel confident.
in what they buy and what they do with it next.
Secondhand is second nature.
effortless and automatic.
